Job Description

Valtech, a global experience innovation company, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team in a remote position based in Mexico. This role sits at the intersection of technology, creativity, and data, working with prestigious clients like L'Oréal, Mars, Audi, and Volkswagen.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong quantitative background and analytical discipline to the role. While coding skills are essential, Valtech values professionals who use programming as a tool to express their intellectual curiosity and problem-solving abilities rather than simply building their resume. The position requires over 2 years of experience working with technologies like Spark (PySpark), Azure Data Factory, and SQL, with a focus on building and maintaining robust data pipelines.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data systems, handling billions of rows of data and building fault-tolerant, self-healing pipelines. You'll be responsible for providing technical consultation, leading complex program implementations, and performing critical analysis to resolve software and business process issues.

Valtech offers a compelling work environment designed for continuous learning and meaningful impact. The company prides itself on its values-driven culture, international career opportunities, and commitment to diversity and inclusion. Benefits include flexible remote work options, professional development programs, access to cutting-edge tools, and the chance to work with industry experts.

The company's borderless, global framework enables seamless collaboration across teams and regions. You'll be part of an organization that values curiosity, teamwork, and knowledge-sharing, working alongside professionals who challenge the status quo and drive innovation in the digital space.

This position is ideal for candidates who are excited by the intersection of technology and data, have strong analytical capabilities, and can thrive in a collaborative, remote work environment. The role requires advanced English skills and offers the opportunity to work with modern data technologies while contributing to transformative projects for world-renowned brands.
