Analytics Engineer

Vanderlande, a global leader in logistics automation solutions, is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join their Central Data & Analytics department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, contributing to the company's data platform development and business intelligence initiatives.

The position involves working in a highly motivated, global team of Data & Analytics enthusiasts, where you'll play a crucial role in advancing the maturity of the Data Platform. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining data products, developing pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL, and building dashboards with tools like Qlik and Power BI. The role operates within a cloud-based architecture following Data Mesh principles.

As an Analytics Engineer, you'll collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to translate business needs into functional requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions. The position requires a blend of data engineering and analysis skills, working in an Agile environment with the latest cloud technologies including Azure Stack and Databricks.

The Central Data & Analytics department follows a hub & spoke model, establishing centralized standards that are implemented by decentralized teams. The department operates using the SAFe Agile framework, ensuring adaptability to evolving strategic needs. You'll be part of an innovative team that continuously improves the Data Platform while maintaining high standards of data governance and quality.
