Responsibilities For Controls Mobile Engineer
- Diagnose and resolve complex incidents related to automated material handling systems
- Diagnose, repair, prevent, modify, maintain, and commission Allen-Bradley PLC systems
- Troubleshoot and optimize various bus networks (Profibus, ASI bus, Profinet, TCP/IP)
- Analyze log data to identify and resolve potential system issues
- Work with IT systems relevant to industrial automation
- Provide technical support for electromechanical and networking systems
- Provide on-site support for troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance
- Maintain incident documentation and escalate complex issues when necessary
Requirements For Controls Mobile Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in controls technology with Allen-Bradley PLC systems
- Hands-on experience with controls and PLCs
- Strong understanding of Low-Level Controls (LLC) and industrial networking systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to travel up to 70% across North America
