This role combines hands-on technical expertise with Allen-Bradley PLC systems and automated material handling solutions. Responsibilities For Controls Mobile Engineer

  • Swift diagnosis and resolution of complex incidents related to automated material handling systems
  • Diagnose, repair, prevent, modify, maintain, and commission Allen-Bradley PLC systems
  • Troubleshoot and optimize various bus networks (Profibus, ASI bus, Profinet, TCP/IP)
  • Proactive analysis of log data to identify and resolve potential system issues
  • Work with IT systems relevant to industrial automation
  • Provide on-site support for troubleshooting and commissioning
  • Maintain accurate incident documentation
  • Up to 70% travel to customer sites across North America

Requirements For Controls Mobile Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in controls technology
  • Strong Allen-Bradley PLC experience
  • Strong understanding of Low-Level Controls (LLC) and industrial networking systems
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
