Vanta is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer for their Self-Serve team to build and maintain scalable, customer-facing features that enhance user engagement, adoption, and retention. This remote position offers an opportunity to work across the platform, creating reusable components and patterns that support both product trials and in-app integrations. The role involves working with modern frameworks including TypeScript, React, and Node.js, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects. Responsibilities For Fullstack Software Engineer, Self Serve (Remote - US)
- Design, develop, and own new product features and platform infrastructure using TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers
- Define and implement technical direction for critical parts of the platform
- Build reusable patterns and primitives to accelerate adoption and activation
- Contribute to in-app purchasing, trial workflows, and third-party integrations
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers
- Support a culture of technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and innovation
Requirements For Fullstack Software Engineer, Self Serve (Remote - US)
- 3+ years of fullstack software development experience
- Proficiency in modern web frameworks and languages, particularly TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Passion for building high-visibility, customer-facing features with attention to detail
- Experience or interest in integrating AI tools into UI workflows
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Interest in learning about security and compliance
- Preferred: experience with scalable SaaS platforms, trial/onboarding flows, or fintech/security applications
