Requirements For DevOps Engineer (Openshift)

  • 3+ years of experience in managing OpenShift and Kubernetes based environments
  • Experience in virtualization(spinning up VMs) using openshift
  • Expertise in Red Hat Openshift 4.x and Kubernetes administration
  • Strong Background in Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman, CRI-O)
  • Hands on experience with HELM, Operators and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs)
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals in Kubernetes
  • Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD, Tekton or FluxCD
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform or Helm charts
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python or PowerShell
  • Experience in monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenShift Logging)
  • Understanding of security best practices (RBAC, SCCs, Pod Security Policies)
  • Experience with CI/CD
