We're seeking a highly experienced professional to serve as a Fortinet Resident Engineer for one of our enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the Fortinet subject matter expert
Design, implement, and manage Fortinet security solutions
Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolve complex network security issues
Work closely with client's IT and security teams
Develop and maintain technical documentation
Assist in integrating Fortinet products with other technologies
Support network security audits and compliance initiatives
Stay updated with the latest Fortinet technologies and industry trends

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7-10 years of experience in network security engineering
Extensive hands-on experience with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
Proficiency with other networking and security technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco, Aruba)
Fortinet certifications (NSE 4, NSE 5, NSE 6, or NSE 7) highly desirable
Additional certifications like CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, or equivalent are a plus
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Responsibilities For Senior Network Engineer (Fortinet Resident Engineer)

Serve as the Fortinet subject matter expert

Recommend enhancements and optimizations based on best practices
Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for client personnel
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and policies
Assist in the integration of Fortinet products with other technologies
Support the client in network security audits and compliance initiatives
Stay updated with the latest Fortinet technologies and industry trends
Proactively provide recommendations to improve network security posture
Lead initiatives to enhance network performance and security

Requirements For Senior Network Engineer (Fortinet Resident Engineer)

Linux

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7-10 years of experience in network security engineering
Extensive hands-on experience with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
Proficiency with other networking and security technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco, Aruba)
Strong understanding of networking protocols, firewall policies, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation
Fortinet certifications (NSE 4, NSE 5, NSE 6, or NSE 7) highly desirable
Additional certifications like CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, or equivalent are a plus
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities
