Vortexa is revolutionizing the energy industry by leveraging satellite data and AI to provide unprecedented visibility into global seaborne energy flows in real-time. As a Platform Engineer, you'll join their Data Services Team, responsible for managing their extensive AWS infrastructure and developer platform. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Kubevela, Golang, Kafka, and Opensearch to process terabytes of data in real-time.

You'll be crucial in maintaining and improving a fault-tolerant infrastructure that handles hundreds of data points per second while supporting complex AI models and a hybrid human-machine data refinement process. The position requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and a deep understanding of containerization and microservices architecture.

The ideal candidate will focus on both infrastructure reliability and developer experience, ensuring 100% uptime while optimizing for cost and efficiency. You'll work in a globally distributed team, helping standardize technology stacks and implementing infrastructure roadmaps.
