Responsibilities For Staff Systems Engineer - Behavior Requirements and Verification

  • Lead and own the creation, documentation, alignment and verification of all behavioral system requirements
  • Act as a central point of contact for all matters related to behavioral requirements
  • Drive safety culture through application of safety standards and methodologies
  • Define improvements for simulator to verify driving behaviors
  • Own the overall concept for product requirements documentation and testing
  • Evaluate and enhance behavioral evaluation capabilities
  • Implement tools to automate behavioral requirement processes
  • Work with external partners on gathering data related to driving behaviors

Requirements For Staff Systems Engineer - Behavior Requirements and Verification

Python
  • Undergrad required; Masters or PhD within an engineering discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of automotive, robotics, aerospace or related industry experience
  • Experience with requirements and metrics for driving behavior evaluations
  • Experience with building complex driving behavior scenarios
  • Experience with methods and standards such as STPA, SOTIF (ISO 21448) and/or UL 4600
  • Strong fundamentals in mathematics, engineering and physics
  • Excellent data analysis skills with modern tools such as Python or Matlab
  • Open-minded and collaborative leader
