Wabtec Corporation is seeking an Advanced Lead Engineer specializing in Train Control systems to join their team in Bengaluru, India. Responsibilities For Advanced Lead Engineer- Train Control

  • Lead designing Locomotive Train Control systems that meet customer requirements, cost & reliability expectations
  • Define system level requirements and interfaces for various control systems
  • Develop and validate control algorithms and models
  • Lead design reviews and make technical decisions
  • Conduct simulator testing and locomotive testing
  • Work with cross-functional & global teams
  • Design and develop Train Control system for Locomotives
  • Develop validation plans and perform system validation

Requirements For Advanced Lead Engineer- Train Control

Linux
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Control system Engineering
  • 8-15 years' experience in Engineering in similar/relevant field
  • Experience with Human Machine Interface (HMI), Trainline control, diagnostics applications
  • Knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink/Stateflow
  • Strong understanding of Control system and real-time system architecture designs
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with requirements management tools
