Responsibilities For Lead Engineer – Controls Engineering

  • Drive execution of design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects
  • Develop System/Subsystem Level Design requirements for Energy management features
  • Define and manage Interfaces to all sub-systems
  • Support software and validation engineers in developing feature enhancements
  • Define System Validation Plans and ensure requirement traceability
  • Participate in technical and program reviews
  • Take ownership of technical concepts and engineering cost estimates
  • Provide effective communications on significant issues

Requirements For Lead Engineer – Controls Engineering

Linux
  • Bachelor's/Masters' degree in Controls/Electronics/Instrumentation or related field
  • 5-8 years of technical experience in Locomotive/Automotive/Aerospace
  • 4 years hands-on design and implementation experience in embedded systems
  • Strong technical knowledge in embedded systems design and closed loop controls
  • Experience with INCOSE system engineering standards
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and embedded programming
  • Experience with System Testing Processes and Automation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
