Software Engineer III - Agentic AI, Prompt engineering

Walmart's Cortex Team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Agentic AI and Prompt Engineering to join their core A.I. conversational platform team. This role is central to powering Walmart's vision of delivering world-class personal assistants to customers through various interaction modes including voice commands, text messages, and multi-modal experiences.

The position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge NLP/NLU technologies, including large language models like BERT, Llama, GPTs, and Gemini. You'll be part of building and designing the next generation of Natural Language Understanding services that power various customer-facing applications, from shopping assistants like Sparky to customer care channels and mobile apps like Me@Walmart.

As part of the emerging tech group, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact on mission-critical products used by millions of customers daily.
