Job Description

Warp is revolutionizing developer tools with their platform for Agentic Development, starting with a reimagined terminal. The company has grown significantly, serving over 700k active developers and seeing 20x revenue growth this year. As a Software Engineer at Warp, you'll be at the forefront of AI-driven development tools, working on a product that aims to transform how developers interact with their computers.

The role involves working across the entire technical stack, from backend systems to user-facing features. You'll be building and improving core functionality that directly impacts developer productivity, collaborating with a team that includes alumni from Google, Dropbox, and other leading tech companies. The position offers significant technical challenges, working with technologies like Rust and Go, while maintaining a strong focus on user experience and product quality.

Warp offers an attractive compensation package with a base salary range of $145,000 - $260,000, plus meaningful equity options. The company provides comprehensive benefits including full medical coverage, flexible remote work options, and generous PTO policies. They maintain a culture that values honesty, humility, and pragmatism, backed by significant funding from Sequoia Capital, Google Ventures, and notable angel investors.

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who are passionate about developer tools and want to be part of shaping the future of software development. The company's vision of agentic development, where developers become "tech leads" for groups of AI agents, positions them uniquely in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-assisted development tools.
