Senior Analytics Engineer

Weave is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join their Data and Insights team, playing a crucial role in building their data-driven culture. This position combines technical expertise with business acumen, focusing on designing and optimizing robust data models that drive critical insights across departments. The role requires working from their Lehi, UT headquarters in a hybrid arrangement (3 days on-site).

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in translating complex business challenges into robust data solutions, directly enabling strategic decision-making and driving business growth. They will develop and maintain data models, build transformation pipelines, and create dimensional models using tools like dbt. The role involves close collaboration with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet both technical and business requirements.

Key responsibilities include developing self-serve analytics capabilities, partnering with business leaders to define project scope, supporting AI/ML deployments, and maintaining BI platforms. The position requires strong technical skills in SQL and data modeling, combined with excellent communication abilities to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3+ years with a Master's degree in a quantitative field. Experience with modern data stack technologies like dbt, cloud data warehouses, and BI platforms is highly valued.
