Front-end Web Developer

We are looking for a Front-end Web Developer to join our team at Wedia. The role involves collaborating with the Technical Lead, creating web user interfaces, following coding standards, developing front-end applications and themes, working with UX & UI Designers, collaborating with the Back-end team, improving existing websites, ensuring project timelines, testing, ensuring compatibility and accessibility, inspecting work of less experienced developers, participating in UI design discussions, and being involved in technology adoption decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing user interfaces for digital projects
• Creating web UIs based on provided visuals
• Developing front-end applications and themes using HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Collaborating with UX & UI Designers and Back-end team members
• Adding functionality and improvements to existing websites and applications
• Ensuring search engine compatibility, form validations, fast page execution, and accessibility
• Participating in technology adoption decisions

The ideal candidate should have:

• A degree in Computer Science or Software Development
• At least 3 years of experience in Front-end programming
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript
• Experience with front-end building tools like Webpack or Vite
• Knowledge of React or other JavaScript frameworks (desired)
• Experience with Next.js (desired)
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS (desired)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Adaptability and team spirit
• Fluency in English
