Description For Spanish Prompt Engineer

Welocalize, a global transformation partner, is seeking a Spanish Prompt Engineer to contribute to researching Large Language Models and improve generative AI. This role combines creativity with expertise in causal reasoning to advance AI capabilities.

As a Prompt Engineer, you'll design, create, and answer questions related to causality within various narratives and scenarios. Your work will focus on exploring cause-and-effect dynamics and the interplay between different elements in complex scenarios.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating prompts and responses for causal reasoning
  • Developing guidelines for crafting prompts that explore causality

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in relevant fields (or BA with extensive experience)
  • Strong research interest and analytical skills
  • C2 Spanish and B1 English proficiency
  • Experience in causal, counterfactual, or covariational reasoning

Responsibilities For Spanish Prompt Engineer

  • Generate prompts and responses that delve into causal reasoning, focusing on the relationships and dependencies within given scenarios.
  • Develop guidelines for crafting prompts that explore causality, probing cause-and-effect relationships and relevant connections within narratives.
  • Create and answer questions about causality in narratives, ensuring a deep understanding of how different elements interact and influence each other.
  • Design detailed prompts for various scenarios, investigating causes, effects, and relationships, and exploring how changes in one element can impact the overall narrative.

Requirements For Spanish Prompt Engineer

Python
  • Master's degree (+ 3 years of experience) or PhD in Cognitive Science, Psychology, Philosophy (with a focus on Classical Logics), Linguistics (with a focus on Computational Linguistics, Pragmatics or Semantics), or NLP research
  • Alternatively, BA in linguistics + 5 years of relevant work experience in a related field
  • Strong interest in research (previous experience with published papers or contributions to academic research is a plus)
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to understand and articulate complex relationships, particularly those involving causality, counterfactuals, and covariation
  • C2 Spanish (Spain) with B1 in English
  • Demonstrable experience in causal, counterfactual, or covariational reasoning, evidenced through previous work, research, or academic projects/papers
