Winedrops is revolutionizing the wine industry by creating a tech-driven platform that helps members save money and discover exceptional wines. Since our inception in 2022, we've rapidly grown to serve over 35,000 members and distribute more than 70,000 bottles monthly. We're currently operating in the UK with ambitious plans to expand into the US market by 2025.

As a Senior Software Engineer at Winedrops, you'll be joining a dynamic team working on a comprehensive technology stack that includes a React Native mobile application serving 40,000 monthly active users, TypeScript-based backend services on GCP/Firebase, and web applications built with React and Next.js. Our infrastructure leverages modern cloud services, including GCP Pub/Sub for asynchronous processing and PostgreSQL for data storage.

The role demands a full-stack engineer who can confidently navigate both frontend and backend development. You'll be instrumental in shaping the future of wine e-commerce, working directly with founders and fellow engineers to build scalable solutions. We're looking for someone who embraces AI-enabled development tools and has a strong foundation in production-grade software development.

Your responsibilities will span the entire development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, including code reviews and performance optimization. We operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple daily deployments, serving tens of thousands of customers, so your code must be robust, efficient, and maintainable.
