The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role focuses on maintaining and improving the platform's reliability, handling hundreds of millions of requests while minimizing downtime. As an early SRE team member, you'll work across the infrastructure stack using TypeScript and AWS, collaborating with product and infrastructure teams to ensure service resilience. Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer

  • Design and evolve systems, tooling, and processes for reliability and performance
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure production-ready, observable, and resilient services
  • Define and measure SLIs/SLOs
  • Write and optimize backend systems in TypeScript
  • Improve incident response process and lead postmortems
  • Develop internal tools and automations
  • Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer

TypeScript

  • Experience operating and scaling production systems in cloud environments (AWS)
  • Familiarity with service reliability concepts
  • Comfort working across infrastructure layers
  • Strong debugging and systems thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems
  • Exposure to observability stacks
  • Exposure to TypeScript or interest in TypeScript
