Responsibilities For Java Software Engineer Specialist/ Tech Lead
- Implementing and expanding Cloud estate within the programme focusing on compute, networking, storage, observability, reliability and security
- Building, implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code and tooling with the Cloud
- Creating cloud environments and data strategy ensuring interaction with on premise systems
- Creating CI/CD for faster delivery
- Making cloud offering self-service and empowering the engineering community
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and policy of internal security teams
- Working closely with software engineers to guide them on the cloud journey
Requirements For Java Software Engineer Specialist/ Tech Lead
- Experience of building enterprise grade applications on AWS
- Knowledge of Functional programming in Java and Data Structures
- Solid hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (IAM, EMR Serverless, Fargate, S3, CloudWatch)
- Experience of building applications with embedded CI/CD
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, principles and fundamentals
- Experience with Infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to impart knowledge
