Wyetech is seeking a Software Engineer 1 to join their team in developing and maintaining complex software systems for federal government customers. This role focuses on backend development using Java and Spring Boot, with significant AWS cloud infrastructure work. Responsibilities For Software Engineer 1
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
- Debug existing software and correct defects
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems
- Develop data queries for databases
- Develop and implement algorithms to meet system performance standards
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures
- Write and review software documentation
- Design, develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and Java
- Build and manage RESTful APIs and backend services on AWS
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems
Requirements For Software Engineer 1
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
- Seven (7) years' experience as a SWE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- United States Citizenship
- Experience with Spring Boot and Java
- Experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
- Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK
