Job Description
Wyetech is seeking a Software Engineer 1 to join their team developing large-scale, streaming processing, AI/ML systems deployed to Kubernetes clusters. The role focuses on applying AI/ML analytics to large data streams for content triage purposes, with ongoing migration to AWS cloud-native implementation. Responsibilities For Software Engineer 1
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems
- Review and test software components
- Resolve software problem reports
- Provide input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs
- Analyze user requirements
- Design and code new software features
- Debug existing software
- Integrate software into new systems
- Develop data queries
- Improve documentation and development process standards
- Develop and implement algorithms
- Execute test procedures
- Write system documentation
- Serve as team lead when appropriate
Requirements For Software Engineer 1
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
- Seven years experience as a SWE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Experience writing applications in Python
- Experience creating, debugging, and tuning performant microservices
- Experience creating containerized applications using docker
- Experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes
- United States Citizenship required
