As a Lead Machine Learning Engineer in the Core Pricing team, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, optimizing and automating pricing processes through advanced ML systems. The role combines technical expertise in machine learning, DevOps, and software engineering with business impact in the insurance sector. You'll work with a cross-functional team of Data Scientists, Actuaries, and Product managers to build and maintain production-grade ML systems that drive pricing decisions. Responsibilities For Lead Machine Learning Engineer

  • Build model lifecycle tooling (deployment, monitoring and alerting) for predictive models
  • Maintain and improve the development environment (Kubeflow)
  • Develop and maintain pricing analytics tools
  • Collaborate with technical pricing, street pricing and product teams
  • Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements For Lead Machine Learning Engineer

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or related field
  • Proven experience in ML model lifecycle management
  • Experience with GLMs and machine learning algorithms
  • Strong Python programming skills with data science libraries
  • Experience with DevOps tooling (gitops, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
  • Cloud experience (AWS)
  • Proficiency with SQL and cloud data warehouses like Snowflake
