Responsibilities For Software Engineer II - Site Reliability

  • Work with security, machine learning, and cyber threat intelligence experts to develop solutions for the ZeroFox platform
  • Gain knowledge of microservices architecture and stack
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize reliability of critical systems (Consul, Vault, Nomad, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Research and build solutions to improve platform reliability and developer productivity
  • Own and influence multi-component systems and work toward taking leadership role

Requirements For Software Engineer II - Site Reliability

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience with focus on reliability, automation, and performance
  • Good communication, collaboration, and presentation skills in English

  • Experience with Docker or AWS (preferred)
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, and incident response (preferred)
