Responsibilities For Software Systems Engineer
- Design, develop, and maintain software systems using object-oriented programming
- Troubleshoot plant floor MES execution and integration issues
- Facilitate site's integration of level 2 automation control systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements
- Lead and author deviation investigations
- Create and implement corrective & preventative measures
- Build and track MES related performance metrics using Power BI
- Manage Change Control, Validation, and Qualification of system changes
- Support daily manufacturing operations
- Lead and execute annual Continuous Improvement Projects
- Perform reliability analysis (FMEA)
Requirements For Software Systems Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
- 3+ years engineering experience with Körber/Werum PAS-X, POMS, Rockwell PharmaSuite, or other Life Sciences focused MES systems
- Experience with SAP S4/HANA
- Knowledge of SCADA systems
- TCP/IP Networking, Routing, Ports and Firewalls experience
- Experience in lean six sigma
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis
- Technical writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and Power BI
