Machine Learning Engineer - Generative AI

Zoox, a leading autonomous vehicle company, is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Generative AI to join their Perception team. This role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and autonomous driving technology, where you'll be responsible for developing synthetic data generation systems that enhance the training and evaluation of Zoox's autonomous driving capabilities.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with large-scale proprietary data and implement state-of-the-art generative AI techniques, including world models and radiance fields. You'll be directly contributing to the safety and reliability of autonomous systems through your work on sensor-level scenario generation.

As a senior member of the team, you'll lead the development of generative models, design sophisticated training techniques, and collaborate across multiple teams including perception, planning, safety, and simulation. The role requires expertise in Python, deep learning frameworks, and experience with large-scale model training.

The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $204,000 to $277,000 in base salary, plus additional components including Amazon RSUs and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and the flexibility of hybrid work arrangements in either Foster City, CA or Boston, MA.
