Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Metrics Tooling and Automation

Zoox, a pioneering company in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join their Metrics Tooling and Automation team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and reliability of Zoox's autonomous vehicles through sophisticated simulation and validation processes.

You'll be working with a team responsible for designing and executing large-scale simulations to validate Zoox's hardware and software performance. As a Senior/Staff Engineer, you'll be responsible for building and scaling critical systems that automate complex processes and generate insights that drive company-level decisions. You'll work cross-functionally with teams across simulation, infrastructure, planning, and perception, making your communication skills as important as your technical abilities.

The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $210,000 to $289,000 in base salary, plus additional components including Amazon RSUs and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The company offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and various insurance coverages.
