Software Engineer - React Native

Zopa, founded in 2005 as the first peer-to-peer lending company, launched Zopa Bank in 2020. We're seeking a strong mobile developer experienced in delivering iOS and Android apps using React Native. You'll work in a cross-functional squad on feelgood money features, making our applications more robust and delightful. The role involves collaborating with designers, delivering clean React Native code, and continuously learning new skills. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing cross-platform mobile apps using React Native
• Ensuring robust infrastructure for fast and clean development
• Collaborating with designers to create a truly feelgood app experience
• Delivering semantically clean React Native code

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with React Native
• Experience in cross-platform mobile app development
• Solid understanding of version control tools (preferably Git)
• Passion for craft and doing things "right"
• Strong customer focus
• Experience working with backend APIs
• Published apps in Google Play or Apple Store

Bonus skills:

• Working knowledge of TypeScript and Redux
• Understanding of native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin)
• Experience with React Query
