Description For Service Partner Engineer

Zscaler, a leading cloud security company, is seeking a Service Partner Engineer to join their Sales and Go-to-Market team. This role is crucial in providing world-class professional services enablement and training to help develop and grow Zscaler's Service Authorized partners' service delivery capabilities.

As a Service Partner Engineer, you'll work closely with Zscaler's channel organization, professional services delivery teams, and other internal resources. Your primary responsibility will be enabling partners with technical skills, delivery methodologies, and leading practices around the design and deployment of Zscaler's products. You'll be a key resource that partners rely on as a trusted advisor in creating and growing a robust services practice supporting successful customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging and supporting Zscaler's Service Authorized partners
  • Providing deal-specific guidance and assistance for deployment planning, design recommendations, and scoping processes
  • Collaborating with strategic partners in SoW construction, joint delivery planning, and resource alignment
  • Becoming a Zscaler cloud service expert through self-study and company training

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with direct customer engagement, including presentations & workshop scenarios
  • Background as a Deployment Engineer, Professional Services Consultant, Technical Account Manager, or Sr. Support Engineer
  • Expert-level understanding of networking and security concepts
  • Knowledge of authentication systems and cloud platforms

Preferred qualifications include experience with large-scale MDM deployment, automation skills, and experience with global service providers or MSSPs.
