Responsibilities For Software Development Engineer
- Developing and managing shared infrastructure automation for US federal, regulated, and sovereign cloud environments
- Improving security of CI/CD systems and automating change management processes
- Defining and enforcing DevOps standards, best practices, and procedures across the engineering team
- Automating the build-out of new Zscaler clouds and creating delivery mechanisms for operational collateral
- Participating in on-call rotation to support a highly available engineering platform
Requirements For Software Development Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent
- 5+ years of commercial services development experience
- 5+ years of public cloud experience (AWS or GCP or Azure)
- Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code as well as experience programming languages like Go, Java
- Experience in continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, patching, and reporting
- Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure) and both relational and non-relational databases for microservices
