Process

I attended an Accenture interview through my campus.

It consisted of four rounds:

  1. Aptitude MCQ
  2. Programming round
  3. Communication round
  4. HR round

I answered almost all questions in the first round. After that, I encountered some network issues, so I couldn't attend the programming round. I informed my placement officer about the network issue, and the programming round was rescheduled. I received a mail about the rescheduling after 10 days.

In the programming round, it consisted of two questions. Both questions were based on strings. However, my friends who attended previously also got tree-based questions.

Next, the communication round. It was not an elimination round, so I did my best without worrying. It was hard to eliminate all the noises because it kept showing a "too much noise" warning. If you have noise-cancellation headphones, it would be good.

At last, the HR round. The HR who interviewed me was very nice and showed genuine interest in my projects. He started with some general questions and asked some technical questions about my projects. Some of my friends in EEE and ECE only got general questions.

Questions

In the programming round, I don't remember the questions, but both questions were based on string concepts.

HR round:

  • Tell me about yourself.
  • What are you good at other than technical skills?
  • Explain your projects.

I did Android apps as my project, so he asked a few questions in Android.

  • What is the difference between an Activity and a Service?

  • What is a Bundle?

  • What is an Adapter?

  • Was this a team project? If yes, what was your team size?

  • When you came up with your idea and proposed it with your teammates, did your teammates give suggestions, and what were they?

  • Have you faced any disagreements among your team while the project was ongoing? If yes, how did you handle it?

  • Share your internship experience and what you learned in an internship.
