Analytical Reasoning Quant / Aptitude Written communication - ENGLISH

Technical:

  • Pseudo code

Section 2: 45 Minutes

2 Coding questions - Any language (C, Java, C++, Python, etc.).

The coding questions were one easy and one medium. My questions were:

  1. Print the maximum of the sum of even or odd digits of a given number.
  2. Divide the given number into the maximum possible sets and print the sum of numbers in the set divisible by 11. Example: 2956 -> set=(2,9,5,6,29,95,56,296,956,2956)

Communication assessment was pretty easy. Varied accents weren't there. If you concentrated well, then you can easily nail it.

Interview round with 2 panel members.

Questions

We had to wait in a queue where a minimum of 2-3 or a maximum of 8-9 people were there.

Average interview time was 23 minutes. For my friends, it was only 5-10 minutes. They only asked about their projects.

Two people interviewed me: technical and HR. They asked me questions in turns.

  1. About yourself.
  2. About two projects in depth, your role in them. Questions on the projects and technology. Any misconceptions during that time with team members?
  3. Any bad situations in life?
  4. When you transferred, explain about it in detail. (I told that in my 'About' section).
  5. If you have to argue with a team lead about a project going in the wrong direction or wrong technology used, how will you do it?
  6. Any other projects or situations you participated in voluntarily?
  7. Any other courses you did? Where? (Website names).
  8. Why not ECE with such a great score, and why now in the IT industry?
  9. Did you write GATE? If not, are you planning to in the future? Why not?
  10. What was the last time your dad scolded you? (Lol, since I mentioned my dad was a teacher).
  11. Any occasions where you played the piano? (Piano mentioned in the resume).

Hope this helped at least one person. All the best!! See you at Accenture! 😊

Due to the pandemic, only a few were selected from every college. In my college, from ECE, only 39 were selected, and only 3 got the FSE role.
