Pros: Started under Tech Transformation (Project Management), I asked the training lead if I could do Software Engineering (Modern Engineering). They allowed me and supported me in this change. That was in the first month, which shows the level of support you can get with the right people. Everyone is friendly and supportive, willing to help and go the extra mile to check on you. Training is very tailored to the project you're going to do. So, it is positive because it covers all the fundamentals, but negative because you initially have less of a say in what you want to learn.

Cons: There is documentation and a way to get help for everything. There is so much that sometimes it can be overwhelming. The starting salary is low compared to the average post-university engineering salary: £31,400.

Pros: Helpful seniors and colleagues. Flexible WFH within the project, with no overall mandatory WFO policy. Good learning opportunities. Getting quality work assignments even as a fresher (though this depends on the project).

Cons: Fewer compensation hikes, nonresponsive HRs.

Pros: The salary is paid on time. Some of the colleagues are great.

Cons: To increase your salary, you must have an offer from another company. Otherwise, the growth is more like a promise than a fact. And even if you have an offer from another company, you will be proposed with extraordinary bonuses that imply that you must stay in Accenture for at least another two years. During these two years, you won't be promoted. My suggestion to people who are about to work in Accenture is to not compromise with working hours: work 8 hours Monday to Friday and then say bye-bye, see you on Monday.
