Pros: Started under Tech Transformation (Project Management), I asked the training lead if I could do Software Engineering (Modern Engineering), they allowed me and supported me in this change, and that's in the first month, which shows the level of support you can get with the right people. Everyone is friendly and supportive, willing to help and go the extra mile to check on you. Training is very tailored to the project you're going to do so, it is positive because it covers all the fundamentals but negative because you initially have less of a say in what you want to learn.

Cons: There is documentation and a way to get help for everything, there is so much that sometimes it can be overwhelming. The starting salary is low compared to the average post-university engineering salary, £31400.

Pros: Good for women and have more benefits

Cons: Too many politics,no promotion and no hikes

Pros: At this stage? Nothing. Accenture- avoid!

Cons: Management- they dont care for the lowest level employees. No pay increase? You NEED to accept. Cost of leaving in Dublin, bills, transportation going up- but not your salary in Accenture. They asked us to volunteer (or else they will pick and choose) to new project in Sandyford, we were promised free food, amazing restaurant- which they closed before we arrived, there is no food, no coffee machines- all there is water dispenser and paper towel. Some employees dont even have desks to work, in the office!!! Now we are told, by super hyped cheerful lady (so inappropriate for circumstances in our opinion) that we are transferred back to Grand Canal office and required to work horrendous shift hours! Morning shift 6:30am, evening shift 3-11:30pm. How people who live D24,22,18,15 or commuter town supposed to get to work??? Sometimes with no public transport at early hours, or go home so late that is dangerous!!! and not take any concern or responsibility for our safety on the way to work and back home?? I cant afford taxi if I miss my last transport. They told us that there is no car park in Grand canal, for the ones who drive. But they say that we will have coffee at least! Every big and bad (for us) change you justify as business requirement, but the truth to be told, all you care about is money (which we dont get) because the changes dont affect you, they affect us! So many of us will be looking for new jobs and not in Accenture, this company dont care for low level employees. You have people dealing with one of the most nasty jobs. Job that has impact on our mental health and we are being underpaid and treated like nothing. You should remember, you wouldnt have a project to run if you didnt have people like us.
