Process

I was referred to the role by my friend. The interview process should have been:

  • A mettle test
  • Technical round
  • HR round

I don't know what happened with my profile. They conducted the technical and HR rounds first, then gave the test. I was asked basic questions regarding the technology that I was interviewing for, and the HR round was pretty much straightforward.

The test was a mettle test. There were 30 questions and the duration was 40 minutes. I answered most of the questions correctly. I was supposed to get feedback on the same in one or two days. As of today (June 25th), I have not received it yet.

When I called the candidate helpline desk, they told me that my test was not captured in the audit. There must have been around 11-12 incidents that may have been raised by the helpdesk to the recruitment team. No response at all.

Two months later, they put my profile on hold, citing compensation mismatch, without discussing it with me.

Questions

I was going for a React Developer role. Basic JavaScript / React questions.
