I received a call for an interview, although I hadn’t applied.

By looking at the company’s name and status in the market, I agreed to the interview.

HR shared me a link to join the interview.

It was at 2:30 PM IST.

At 12:00 PM IST, I got a call from another HR saying that I hadn’t attempted the test before the technical evaluation.

I said I hadn’t received any mail for the test.

HR said she would share it quickly and asked me to attempt it quickly, as only 2:30 hours were remaining for the technical evaluation.

I said OK.

I tried to attempt the test; it was showing, “Sorry, you can’t.”

I shared a screenshot with HR.

She said, “It seems like some backend issue. We will sort it and come back to you.” There was no reply on the given day.

The next day, when I called, she said, “Sorry, the position we wanted is for a junior resource, and you have higher experience, so we can’t consider your profile now,” and disconnected the call.

I was shocked to know this.

Still, I just gave away.

2 weeks later, I again got a call from another HR stating that she found my profile in their database and has an opening for a senior position for another client.

I said OK.

This time, she sent me a test link, which I attempted.

Then immediately, I got a mail that I had passed the test successfully, and the status on their career portal also said the same.

The next day, one of the senior technical people conducted my technical evaluation.

After the evaluation was done, I immediately got a mail that I had cleared the technical evaluation and HR would contact me for further discussion.

The portal also stated the same.

After a couple of hours, I got a mail from another HR with a form attached and was told to upload my educational and experience documents along with the form she shared.

She mentioned completing the document upload process ASAP so that we could move to salary discussion and other formalities.

I did it the same day.

After that, the next morning, the status on the portal read,

“Your candidature is closed; sorry, we don’t have any open positions for you.”

I was like, WHAT IS THIS?

Then I tried to call HR, but she didn’t answer my call.

After that, I sent almost 5 follow-up emails to HR, but there was no reply to any of them.

Thank God I have screenshots of all their process updates on the portal.

But such pathetic behavior is not accepted from such a good and reputed company.

And I don’t know how many HRs are working there…😄😄
