Recently, I came across the worst hiring process of my life till date. I appeared for an online assessment and an interview on the same date. The process was quite normal.

I got an email for shortlisting and uploading documents.

After 3 days, I got a call from HR stating that my government ID was not clearly visible in the assessment, so I needed to appear again.

I cleared this as well. Then again, I started getting calls for an interview, which I mentioned that I had already appeared for an interview and got an email for uploading documents. But it's fine, I can appear once again.

HR called 2 times for the same and disconnected upon hearing this. And suddenly, my candidature was cancelled. None of the HRs picked up my calls after that.

Is this the way interviews happen?
