I believe the experience will vary vastly from project to project based on the management.
Some of the pros I experienced:
- Decent work-life balance.
- Decent compensation.

Due to the service-based nature, some projects will not offer good career progression.

Sometimes, based on the conditions or terms of the assigned project, it is very difficult to control what work you do, leading to dissatisfaction if the job you do does not align with your preferences.
