The major share of the company's work lies in Maintenance and Support Projects. So, generally, there is not much to learn. Just go with the flow and follow the ongoing process, involving no brainstorming.
Newly joined ASEs should not be given streams randomly. There should be some criteria, or even their preferences can be asked. The irony is that Bio-tech and Mechanical engineers are getting opportunities to work as Java/C# developers, while a Computer Science engineer has to work as a "manual tester". Since they are all newly joined, they can't even get their stream changed for 18 months. You can understand that after working in some stream for 18 months, it would be a waste of time to change it and start a new beginning where you'll be left behind by around 2 years.
OA was easy. Three coding questions: one of HTML, CSS, JS; one SQL; and one coding. The technical round was on the tough side with questions from core CS, security, networking, pseudocode, and other things. The cognitive round was easy.
Easy and smooth. The questions were very easy, nothing much about the project and general HR kind of questions. The interviewer made me very comfortable in the beginning and let me relax, then asked me to introduce myself. Then, the interview started
Interviewer asked basic questions: "Introduce yourself," "Explain about your project," and some basic questions about the technical domain mentioned in the resume. They also asked, "Do you know AI/ML?" Some basic questions about AI were also asked.
