"Diamond" Projects have really good PMOs that really cut down project costs, hence, promotion/career development goes down the drain. The only project I've been on only has budget for hiring tons of entry-level people and little to no budget for promoting existing people.
Lots of ASEs are given roles that are for higher career levels, with the reasoning "This will help you get promoted."

The interview was pretty easy. It took less than 30 minutes. The interviewer was nice and not intimidating. There is a long wait, though, but all of the questions are common.
