Pros

Accenture can be great if you are well connected so that you can get on projects and stay off the bench. If you are able to achieve this, you'll get broad exposure to many industries and different types of work, which can help catapult your career and shouldn't leave you feeling bored, as opposed to working in internal IT.

Cons

Cons are that HR gaslights you into thinking it's your fault if you're struggling to get on a project. The internal booking tool is completely broken, and I have never heard of someone actually successfully getting a project through it. If you are new and coming in without a lot of connections, it could be really difficult for you. You could wind up on the bench and get let go.

I would not recommend coming to Accenture at this time, with the current economic environment, as consultants are typically first to be let go at companies, and the bench is very high at the moment. There just aren't enough roles for employees currently.

Advice to Management

Completely throw away MyScheduling and build a tool that is actually useful and gets employees booked onto projects.

I'm aware that Accenture is currently working on this, but this needs to be expedited and more money needs to go into it.
