Pros

Great place to start your career. Most people I started with were extremely helpful and friendly. If you have a career counselor who is invested in your growth, you'll do amazing at the company.

Cons

Your experience at the company (positive or negative) is largely dependent on:

  • The projects you work on
  • The people you are around
  • The type of clients you interact with
  • Your relationship with your career counselor.

I wouldn't say these are cons, per se, but if you don't have the right mentorship, it's on you to figure this out through trial and error. I've seen people who are unable to figure this out and navigate a large company leave.

Advice to Management

Actively reach out and mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts so that they build the confidence and internal network required to succeed in consulting.

Oftentimes, analysts are brought on to projects to do work without necessarily understanding how the work they're doing fits into the big picture.
