It's not as easy to move between roles within the company as advertised. As the company is so big, if you're in consulting, you are frequently placed on projects outside your expertise to reduce time being unstaffed, and you are expected to be an expert. For such a high-performing consulting workforce, the same can't be said about corporate functions. Slow and poor helpdesk and tech support functions, made worse due to global cost reduction activity.
