Managers are simply sitting there and doing nothing.
If you join as a lateral hire, there are high chances you could be the target of a PIP if your manager doesn't like your face or due to a high level of arrogance.
Tech leads are good for nothing.
If you are good at flattering/buttering managers/leads, then you can survive here. Those with such characteristics get promoted easily.
Even leadership-level people are full of politics. Favoritism is very high here.
Respect lateral hires. Have transparency in the working environment.
