It’s getting more towards selling models versus delivering. It's getting harder to get staffed on projects. Once you are up the ladder, your LCR becomes an issue, hence fewer opportunities.
As there is a push for Gen AI, sadly the approach hasn’t been structured. Please keep the conversation and expectations more transparent, as it has ended up hurting people in the most unexpected ways, for example, layoffs etc. For instance, chargeability was lower due to a lack of projects, but I was told that shouldn’t be an issue. That, however, led to layoffs.
The process for getting an interview was very quick and straightforward. The person in charge of setting up the virtual meeting and the in-person meeting was great to work with. I hope that everyone gets the same experience.
