Performance appraisals still look like a bell curve. Please be more transparent and stop comparing teammates with each other. Try to see individuals' absolute strengths and unique qualities. Don't let employees feel inferior or superior by comparing colleagues in the same team. And try to teach leadership skills to immediate supervisors.
