Worked for Accenture for 5 years, and it has tons of opportunities. But since it is a very big firm, it all depends on what you take away from it, as there are so many projects, teams, people, and demographics.
People are looking for answers like:
All those are case-specific, so don't go by reading reviews here. But overall, it doesn't have bad policies in India (biggest delivery center) like other desi companies.
The HR department sucks to the core in all three areas:
Employee Referral: In my entire career of 5+ years, I have never succeeded in getting someone in. The majority of the recruiters are "outsourced consultancy companies" and they only get their people interviewed for commission. The only way would be if you knew any good "Senior Manager" who can hire them project-specific.
Getting answers for any query: You will NEVER get an answer. It will keep jumping between various teams.
Policies: Same thing, no clear answer.
There should be better "visibility, ownership, and accountability" in HR and Finance teams.
Technology and consulting teams just work fine.
Applied via website, got the email and the interview was scheduled. It was good. Basics and some deployment, Docker, Kubernetes related questions, like how to setup PV and PVC, port forwarding within the host machine and server. Concept of dev, prod
It was a good interview that I had attended. The questions asked during the technical and HR rounds were a deep dive into the experience I have in the IT industry.
It was quick and clear. The decisions were made quickly. The HR was kind. The project was assigned quickly. There were a total of 3 rounds: initially with the manager, then with the Technical Team, and finally with HR.
