- Tech managers are mostly doing HR roles.
- As a technology organization, a leader has to understand what's good and what's not good for the company.
- Managers follow some 6/7 criteria to be fulfilled for promotions, like certification, sessions taken, etc.
- They are all textbook managers and never adapt to real-life things.
- Formal dress.
Look for the best in an employee and improve them. Don't ask a good tech guy to do a marketing role.
Understand what's good for the resource and don't generalize everything. Not everyone is the same.
