Pros

Good learnings from work exposure.

Cons

In many places in India, promotion is completely biased and not based on talent or skills.

Talented people are leaving the organization because they are not promoting them.

One girl in Pune has a total of 4 years of experience, and she doesn't have any exceptional skills. She is average in her work. She has been promoted as Team Lead.

Another girl has 8.5 years of experience and is above average in her work. She is still an SSE and has not been promoted to Team Lead because she is from Chennai.

Ridiculous. Biased.

Advice to Management

Gender partiality must be avoided.

Managers are very biased. They are not in a growth-oriented mindset.
