You will get better people, a good challenge, and an opportunity for onsite if you know buttering. Awards if you work like a donkey.
Management does not know anything about project management. Resource management is the worst. Work-life balance is poor. Partners are the dumbest people on the planet. There is lots and lots of overtime with no appreciation.
Try harder to keep your star employees on board and learn the fundamentals of project management. Don't take credit for others' work. Trust your employees and stop enjoying the buttering.
