Promotion to Lead and Managerial levels is not easy.
They give more priority to employees who join the company as freshers.

Give priority to lateral entries as much as you prioritize employees who join after graduation, especially from Level 9 (Lead/Specialist) and above.
Appreciate the management for work-life balance and opportunities in different projects, though.
